Idea for pets...

I dont know how possible this is, if at all

1st of all do away with the pet rental npc completely

Then add a room where when u go there, there is an npc that when u click does @spirit so your pets untame (the map would have to be different for every person, so dont know how that would be done, maybe teleports you to map10000*name* if you get what i mean, so you cant go to other peoples pet maps)

Then you can log out with your pets stored untamed in this room, which you can teleport back to when you log on again, click npc and he makes them your pets again...but i think if npc makes them your pets they wont untame either

NPC would also have to do a check to make sure there is no more than 5 mobs in there, or people could untame mobs and then have more than 5 pets if he makes every mob in there ur pet

Anyway dont know if this is possible at all, but dont know till u ask

With the new company that lapta has spoken of they could programme it that pets do not untame once tamed.
Taos have skelly shinsu deva for as long as they remain on line, so why not wizzies.
At present a possible 80 minute hunt is nothing and the pets do not get levelled at all.
Unless you have another wizzy who can tame them and you take them back there is little chance of hunting more than 80 minutes as they begin to untame after 90 minutes and it may take 10 minutes to get 5 pets anyway.
I have asked lapta and he said at present he cannot extend the minimum untame time.
The NPC at present having the 20 bones added on is making it very very difficult for wizzies especially lower levels to even have pets as you should see by towns now. It's mostly foxes.
Bones drop about 1/90 if that.

right, so your saying theres not point updating or trying to fix bugs, because it will all be magicly fixed in march

Where on earth do I say that?
The thread at the top of the page by lapta regarding the new company asks for ideas as well as bug probs and as he says this may not come about until March.
At present lapta cannot change the length of time tamed pets remain tame I said nothing about any fixing of any bugs or any "magical" remedy in March.
And no pob I will not shut up, not every one has gold coming out of their ears as you do.
