am round nanny and grandads and monkey and me would like to play next cp[l of days. have dl full client etc but when ingame screen/game/view etc is very dark and grey/brown - fck knows what pc setuo is cos i'm typing in dark after serious alcohol intaje. sys is xp so is there A SIMPLE SCREEN RES GOLD BUTTON I CAN PRESS TO MAKE IT BRIGHTER? OTHERWISE BE SEEING U IN NEW YR XX ooops caps but i cant typr that shiz again lolz

Try sobering up and then asking for help that would probably be the best idea, you can explain the situation fully then.

He is round at his Nanny and Grandads with his Monkey and would like to play mir over the next couple of days. He has downloaded the game but when he plays it he gets a black screen(not sure if he means the whole screen, including the interface or just the maps). So... is there a simple button to brigten it up, if not he'll see you in the new year when he's back home.

Ok so... If its just your main screen that is black, you probably havent had the map downloaded or something, try using autopatcher and see if that helps.

If its your WHOLE screen thats dark (i.e your interface too) and it looks all messy... try quitting the game. Right click anywhere on your desktop, click properties, then the Settings tab. Check your resolution capapbilities(at least 1024 by 768), and the colour quality is set to at least 16bit.

If you dont have those options available, and your only stuck on 56 colours or something, you probs dont have your proper graphics card drivers installed. So just find out the make and model of your graphics card, and google it ^_^
