OK...Listen up, this is for you people who's items are totally screwed. ie: flags+swords for rings.ect - hehe

I have tried this on several machines, some which where almost up-to-date with the latest patches, and some which hadn't been updated in a loooong time, and all have worked.

The solution is simple.
The problem simply lies within your Mir Folder not having the same name as what the manual patch is trying to update.

For instance mine is: C:\programfiles\WemadeEntertainment\legendofmir\

If your mir directory is the same as mine, you will find a folder named "Mir Revenge" inside of the LegendOfMir folder containing 3 other folders (data/graphics/map) if you have previously tried running and installing the MANUAL patch.

This is because it's trying to overwrite any files located in mirrevenge\data mirrevenge\graphics + mirrevenge\map
NOT LegendofMir\data LegendofMir\graphics + LegendofMir\map.

But alot of people don't have their mir folder called MirRevenge.
Most people i have worked with have the directory: C:\ProgramFiles\WemadeEntertainment\LegendOfMir

Ok.. So we've found the problem - Now lets get fixing......



----------------SOLUTION NUMBER 1--------------------

FIRST OF ALL
go here, and download (Too Your Desktop) from one of the 4 links.
manual patch download

1. Find the folder where your MirRevenge files are (Usually C:\Programfiles\WeMadeEntertainment\LegendofMir

2. Make a new folder on your desktop called Patch or whatever.

3. Double click the patch.exe on your desktop which you downloaded from 1 of the 4 links i provided, Select browse and find the new patch folder you just created on your desktop (in step 2) and click install.

4. Once this has finised, open the patch folder (on your desktop) and rename the folder called "MirRevenge" too, in most cases "LegendOfMir" depending on the name of the folder containing your MirRevenge files.

5. Now copy the folder you just renamed "LegendofMir" into the WeMade folder and select YES to overwrite any files already present.

6. Now go here: http://www.mirrevenge.com/autopatch.rar
And save this too your Desktop.

7. Once downloading has finished, Extract both files too your LegendOfMir folder and run the "MirRevengeAutoPatchingSoftware.exe".
8. Run it again incase any files where skipped.
9. Play the Game.
10. Give yourself a pat on the back.



OK. for some strange reason, a few people i know found the above solution alot more complicated than the one i have posted below.
Personally, i don't really see why...But.. Some of yoons are just a bit weird. lol
So if the above solution confuses you and/or for some reason doesn't work....
Proceed too follow the steps below:

FIRST OF ALL
go here, and download (Too Your Desktop) from one of the 4 links.

1. Simply download the file to your desktop.

2. Create a new folder called "patch"

3. Double click the patch.exe, select BROWSE and select desktop\patch (the folder you just made in step2)

4. Click install to extract the files to the patch folder on your desktop. Once this has finished you will notice that the patch folder you created now contains a folder called MirRevenge, open this to find 3 other folders called Data, Graphics + Map.

5. Open your ORIGNAL MirRevenge folder (usually in C:\program files\WemadeEntertainment\LegendofMir\)

6. Now copy the 2 files (dnitems.wil + dnitems.wix) From the Patch\Data folder on your DESKTOP to your ORIGINAL MirRevenge Data folder(found in step 5) - Select yes to overwrite

7. Go to the Patch folder on your desktop and open the Graphics folder, inside you will mind Monster + Weapon folders.

Copy all the files from the Patch\Graphics\Monster folder to your LegendofMir\Graphics\Monster folder.
Selecting yes to overwrite all.
Copy all the files from the Patch\Graphics\Weapon folder to your LegendofMir\Graphics\Weapon folder.
Again, Selecting yes to overwrite all.


8. Now go to the Patch\Map folder and copy all of these files to the LegendofMir\Map folder.
Selecting yes to overwrite all.

9. Go here: http://www.mirrevenge.com/autopatch.rar
And save this too your desktop.
Once downloaded, extract both the files too your main LegendOfMir folder and run the file "MirRevengeAutoPatchingSoftware.exe".
Once this has finished, Run it a 2nd time incase any files where skipped.

10. Play the game (Not forgetting to slap yourself in the face first for being awkw.. i mean.. umm, different )

I've noticed a few people are only having problems with seeing weapons, but their items are totally fine.

If someone has around 90meg of space somewhere where i could upload a file or 2, i can post a link to download the correct un-bugged weapon files, which will sort this problem.
So the people who are having problems with the weapons only can save themselves the brain-ache :P.

i'm sure everyone would appreciate this

Basically what you need to fix the problem is your original euro mir dumped inside revenge or vice verca. this way you get the original skins plus the updated ones.

i had this problems, all items were fine, weps lookd fine on body but were wrong in hand, i simple deleted my weapon.wil & weapon.wix in my data folder, ran my auto patch it then downloaded 2 files. weapon.wil & .wix n the problem was solved.
