Lag

I cannot believe the lag that it is going on at present.
When I first started playing this server about a month ago there was no lag. No problems at all. Over the last week and a half it has progressively got worse. Early am like 5am up to about 11am it is ok then it starts to creep in and as people log on it gets worse. By the count of only about 132 people it has become practically unplayable today.
I know it cannot be my pc as I had no problems as I said a couple of weeks ago. No programmes running in the background at all everything off. So again nothing like that at all affecting game play.
So what is it?

Lapta please I hope the fixes you are about to make will improve gameplay.
I know others don't all suffer it.
I did a trace last night and it had nightmares getting out of tiscali then was ok then nightmares going into dallas. I am no internet / pc boffin but would love an answer and rectification to this.
I use Homechoice as my IP who are now owned by Tiscali.
