Well ghosting items on the floor on purposae imo should be bannable because it can lead to a DB overload and cause lagging issues and its just god damn annoying..
Not sure on the offical verdict though

I read somewhere that it is bannable. It should be in my opinion. It is an outright deceiving act apart from as mentioned that it eats up DB resources.

The only problem is showing proof. Just a pic of somebody standing on top or near a ghost items in not a conclusive proof. Well, calling on GM's... though I understand you have a full hand as of the moment.
Maybe a public warning is a start if really this is a bannable act.
