Just a little note really of observations, I am in n no way calling the work which you do into question, so don't lock or go on te defensive as this is an objective post.

I've been with the server a while now, and seen a lot come and go. Today howver 2 Pro rings and a para have droped in Jinchon temple, which seems kinda extreme to me, but that may be happy co-incidence.

MY real niggle is with the takng gold out the game issue, now obviously you have changed many drop files from the ice temple due to orbs, I notice alot more U gems also. But al this is doing is making the rich, richer still as it is simply increased the value of orbs - instead of being a noob who could afford to orb his kit, I'm a noob that can't afford to orb his kit.

Also, I'm not entirely sure how peopl make money now, unless I'm the most unluckiest player in history because I NEVER seem to get any good drops, killed countless OLs today not to mention a JC and a few OKS... ands still nothing - same as most nights.

Item prices aren't coming down, people are maintaining the level at which they want to q/s items at, and if they don't get it items are simply not selling at all. I don't need what can be done about it.. but there's got to be a way to make money that those of us who can't solo every boss - or fend off pk's for a boss in the first place can involve ourselves in, cause right now money issues are my main problme.. as I've just lost another sorcerycharm as there was a nice JinchonCaptain waiting on me aas I entered WT.. teleing me to it and killing me instantly I lost about 50mils worth.. which is 25times more gold that I have.

Anyways it's most probably just me that actually feels this way, but I feel I'm getting nowhere as you have no idea how long it took me to afford a sorcery charm and its gone in a second... it'll take me weeks solid to earn tthat sort of cash again. I don't have a solution or am not offering a miracle solution - simple my POV. I'm also anticipating about 5 or 6 useless immature replies before some1 posts sense

Edit: Also in the body drop rate for pks.. I got pked 3 times dropped HHelm, HA in 3 deaths. Kit I can't afford to replace. Also the fact im lvl 60+ yet a level 55ish warrior with decent kit/dc can nearly one hit my wiz - it's absurd.

Firstly can I just say grats for a well thought out post. I dont tend to post a lot in the forums just read and lurk but i do feel this post deserves some support.

Im a level 59 wizz and a lev 57 warr with okish kit. Now im lucky enough to be in a guild that does hunt together so that does help with the cash situation. Heres the but, because i have limited time to play and therefore have to solo quite a bit. As a wizz until u get uber kit you are always vunerable from high lev players.

I used to solo in Bc ZT ST and PB constantly getting pked but plugging away because i could make ok cash and save for good items.Now with the gold drops lowered im not making very much, and prices are still artificially high for decent kit.

The pk for no reason brigade mean i cant hunt in areas where a decent drop happens incase i get pked and lose my kit. If I was a newish player to the server i may well have left as the game is frustrating for lower levels who if pked have no possible way of replacing items for months.

I do think the GM team and lapta do an amazing job with not much thanks from most on here. So as Evil scotsman says this is just my view, and not an attack on the time and effort put in by the GMs.

Im not sure of a way forward that would resolve this but im interested as to what others think.

yeah but thats wot ya get if u drastically alter drop's and gold like that. its gone from lots droppin to nothin droppin in a vry short space of time. the only solution i think there is, is to raise it up again givin people the chance to earn some cash and slowly decrease it again instead of one day uber drops, next day FA

Just a simple idea

Could just Turn Every Gold Million into 100k of Sliver currency, drops could stay the same as they were, but items would only be worth the same as they were but with a few 0's knocked off the end. Then you could reduce gold drops to slightly less.

Suppose what i mean is just move the decimal point over. Not sure how you would remove gold tho, Could have a Gold exchance NPC and exchange it for silver, convert the shops over to silver and bingo, everyone will convert to silver because gold will have no value and can not be used to buy pots or in the TM, these could all be changed to silver currency... allowing the moving of the decimal place!

As it is atm the min for those that have billions tucked away, changing the drop files only helps those with loads of cash that are high lvl.

Just give it time, its takes time to remove gold from the game.

As for orbs dont worry apparently they been dropped across the server but if prices go up then it will make buying (U) orbs worth wile and changing them.

you cant expect prices to drop over night, its something that will happen over time,

i can understand the point about the orbs becomming more expensive and it might be a mistake, but with more gems being dropped noobs will use those to get their kits going and then be able to go out and hunt the mobs that might drop the orbs.

other items are still dropping but they are dropping from other mobs not just the bosses, the way to get the items now is to get a good group of people together (i know its hard to get at times, but this will change once people see the value of it) and go and hunt the places like JT (closed atm for reasons you mentioned i believe)

in relation to cash being taken out of the server i whole heartly support it solely for the fact that i know its possible for a level 40 war/tao/wiz to make at least 25mil in a day collecting bones. i did it 2 days ago, it took a little time (3-4 hours) but its totally possible without much effort. (psc 4th+ is king)

just because their isnt loads and loads of cash dropping doesnt mean you cant get rich.

i was thinking that the junk lady in bw safe zone could go some way to help the issue with everyone feeling they have been stitched on the cash issue, even though it is possible with a little time and effort. if you could sell everything to the junk shop lady in sz, people would pick up more of the crap thats just left on the floor, if you go through zt 7th for instance you can get 10-25 armours but the majority of people are to lazy to collect them all and then run to the clothes shop, then run to the ring shop etc etc.. if you could sell everything in one place (maybe one at each end of sz so it doesnt get to crowded ) it would give people an "easier" way to make quick cash, its not going to make you rich unless you start working to pick up the items but it might help out the noobs some what.

in relation to the random pking, i f*ing hate it, i have been victim to it a couple of times and it drives me insane. so i can understand the issues of getting somewhere and then getting pked out of it (i made it to psc6th and then got 1hit blizz) but that being said i only ever met 1 person in psc in the 3-4 hours i was in there, i didnt see anyone on my trip through bdd iwt room to dd room, or the entire 7th floor of zt. (that was on a wednesday if you want a pk free day btw

but im pretty sure i was jsut really lucky.

as i mentioned before (in different threads) about the safe hunting areas maybe we should have those mobs dropping reasonable cash maybe 3-5k per mob kind of thing.

so you could hunt bosses and mobs which give exp and cash only in the pvp free areas, but if you want to try and hunt for items you need to go to the more dangerous areas,

thennnnn we could actually remove all the guards from the unsafe areas, make towns safe zones, and have pk points being able to be used in some kind of PK twist to the server so you could actually go out hunting with your guild for other people and make the unsafe areas actually pvp zones. so you would have to expect to fight over bosses/mobs but youcould hunt cash safely and still buy your items in safety because people wouldnt kill you in town.

hmmm i might discuss that with the staff if anyone likes it.
