Touch with what Mir was once like and about?

I first started playing Mir just before it updated to 1.9 but have known about the game since 1.4 (I am referring to Euro Mir of course) I loved to play the game, hunt with my mates and meet new people. Thats what it seemed to be about was "teamwork". I remember many nites sitting in ZTKR with a few peeps for 4+ hours and only killing 2 maybe even 3 ZT's if we were lucky and some nites we'd leave with a bene or 2 and that was it! And people accepted that and got on with the game.

Now I play this server (and love it tbh) but people are jus all me, me, me... Give us better drop rates, this skill should be better... Ma weapon needs more Acc, Holy, whatever!

I'd imagine that 99% of the people that complain bout these things must have neva played the original game. Best drop I ever got from Euro was a magic Scythe at the time worth 18mil. And I played the server for almost 2 years. Don't like it!? Don't play! If you do wanna keep playing then sit down shut up and deal with it!

Oh an 1 last thing, rares are called rares for a reason...

i salute u sir. you have hit the nail right on the head there.

i started playin @ 1.4 but had to leave a month l8er due to family issues lol. when i cam back in 2. summert i could see the incredable difference. mir has been over run by greed, and the chance to be greedy.

kk i bin playn mir 4 a while now. played euro b4 cummn ere. this is a private server so u shud expect bit better drops but now is same as euro. was speakn 2 me m8 the other day about this and i think he hit the nail on the head. wen this server 1st started i think it was set out 2 av a short life span(y weps and items only went 2 70) and lapta never expected all this. so game was built on this ending quickly but now theres alot of interest its tryn 2 turn into a long life span(available soon on high street) which where the problem is. u'v got all new peeps cummn into the game moaning about high lvl players(which av play'd since the start) gettn richer and them gettn nuffn. then u got the high lvls gettn bored as all there is 2 do is lvl.

so short term game into a long term game= problems. The only way around it i can c is a wipe but cant c many peeps liking this 1. yes u can say all i ever do is moan blah blah blah but until i get me xbox bk il av 2 play mir.
