Hey Tom, I know it helps when you have advisor's to answer questions etc..
but it would help if the Rest of the Team could vote and have a say on who becomes an advisor...

Also Any advisor's you make please post their char names here.

Oh and btw I'm Fireing PongFui = Tanksta from Advisory for Brown Pking and fighting in town etc..

Yeah, It would be better if the rest of us could actually vote who we want in the team and get to know their names; The advisors are meant to be helping the rest of the players, its pathetic for PongFui AKA Tanksta to tell people off for things, then logging on his main and doing it himself...

Well. Firstly, I don't base my choices upon the person itself, i base it upon the application. Henceforth why i may have picked people with the worst reputation ever, So what? If they will make good staff and will work hard, i don't care.

Oh and, until i get proof about tanksta, he is still in the position of advisory. At the moment the only person who can fire them, is me, as i am leader of the advisory team atm. The reply that lapta gives you dave is, You are not GM for 9 days.

But away from that, you can tell me who you think should get advisory, i never said you couldn't.

I maybe on suspension because of me talking to you in private and telling you off but that does not give you the right to power trip on me. We're supposed to work as a TEAM and that means WORKING TOGETHER. It helps to have communication. Lone, Nasir and myself are all wondering what this advisory group is and there's no communication like how are we able to help you if you don't say **** all except to Jamie only, cause I do know Jamie is too busy with other stuff to stop and say "oh yeah tom has an idea!!"

And if you're wondering why I'm pissed off, it's because you are failing to show me any respect as an elder to you irl. I'm 30 years old I don't need your childish whining and complaining. If you have a problem you confront it head on and see how it can be fixed. I have no problem talking to you and I really do want to help you in any way I can but all i'm asking is you give a little respect please and don't take your personal irl issues and frustrations out on us or me just cause it makes you feel better because that makes you no better then the Bully that's been picking on you for the last 3 years.

1). good stuff, it's nice to sort through applications and try and pick people based on skills they can say and then watch them closely to see them demonstrait that they actually can do it. Hard work but tis fun when you see ppl succeed cause it means you've succeeded.

2). I have just spoken to Solidious in game and he says he's cool with Tanksta and also I did nothing to tanksta until I actually get to / or got to speak to you about how you want the rules set up. (for the advisors of course).

I've asked the Advisors about taking screen shots for now if they see things that are potentially greif etc.. because we have to see they are not taking personal issues out on players and have proof that way we can start trusting them more etc.. you know the drill on this

As for other stuff about the advisory group I hope it goes well and you can iron out the bugs and make it a fluid system.

i dont really like the thought of emily/internet having any responsibilty on this server other than her characters. she may just may make some player loose what little respect they have for other members of staff. but tbh i didnt like Dave as a character ingame and he seems to be doing a great job, never broke any rules that i can see.

also i would have thought i might have been shown a little respect and been asked to have something to do with this being the only mod on these forums without a GM char and the longest serving mod. but oh well me over looked again.

maybe you should do what we did with the old server team things, remember when we had a lot of people be given responsibility on the forums i forget what it was for, but we all got shown the applications and then we all decided what where the best one's.

you do a fantastic job D1craig. I'd support you in your decisions, and I do almost all the time even when ur giving out forum bans or trying to mediate matters.

Firstly well done to atrox for beating his bully it takes courage to stand up to someone who wants to dominate you, which is one of the reasons why i supported you getting powers and so forth because i know you have the will to keep going

but you guys need to beheave or i will step in and get all funky with ya :P

atrox you may be the leader of the adviser team but you are still part of the original team and you still awnser to lapta when things go wrong, so ask for advice and get us involved some of us have done these sort of things beofe (like when i tried the focus group - as craig was talking about :P)

the reason we have a team that discusses things and makes joint decisions is because it makes things better, the only person on this server who can do what he likes when he likes is lapta because its his server.

So before people get defensive and argumentitive because you guys have had a run in, please think about the actual situation.

dave did something he thought was allowed but they were a little ott and he is serving his punishment for it, it doesnt mean his opinion isn't just as valid as your atrox it also doesnt mean that his knowledge and understanding of mir that has been built up has disapeared, theres a reason he was made a member of the team and it would be good to respect his opinions, and just because you had a stressful day beating you bully doesnt mean that you should take it out on others i nthe team no matter what they have done.

personally i would say give the new guys a go, i mean look at what happened to pob, probably the most hated person on in the game, we gave him a shot he was ok until he crossed the line and then we got rid of him.

we can do the same again if we need too.

What exactly are the advisers supposed to do?

the idea of the focus group i wanted to create would of been a group of people with knowledge of mir that are able to take ideasd from the forum and bring them to staff attention to be acted apon saving the staff the time of trying to organise the users.

TBH if this is gonna cause problems between the main staff/helpers of lapta i think it should be scrapped. The last thing any of us want is for this to turn into a flame war between us.

I do however think the idea should of been put on the staff forum before actually being put on the players forum.

I'm not disagreeing with the brown PK stuff but if they were made to be on a NEW character that is specifically for advisory then I do believe that they should only be doing that job and not interefering with normal game play.

However, there could have been an alternate solution. If say, Tom decides that they no longer need to be on NEW characters but Must Require them to have their guild titles Changed to MirRevenge Advisor, per say on their original chars, then they would be allowed to continue normal game play and still be able to offer help to others at any time. I think it would give them more freedom but I'll leave that up to Tom and Jamie to work out.
