Full time now.

Not been very active of late, but i have more time on my hands now, so i am taking control back of the server.

Each GM will be given roles on the server, and will stick to there roles, so basically rules for each GM.

Will sort these out soon.

If i see any more crap with GM arguing, in game or on forums, i will take away your powers for good.

If i ask a GM to do something i do not want that GM to be underminded by other GM's.

As a GM your meant to be helpful and have fun, but it seems that a few of you are just power hungry wanna be server owners. As harsh as that sounds, it is so true. I dont often turn around and say this is my server, cus it's not really i am just the one who pays the bills, and worked my ass off to get it to this point. I will not let the server suffer cus of GM's not getting on, or trying to over rule each other.

Getting GM's for the server isn't a hard job, building up trust is...

does this mean that if we make a focus group and we come up with some great ideas and fixes you will give it the attentiopn it requires from the enforcer (you in other words). we had some great ideas and fixes in the last focus group but it wasnt even getting viewed by yourself so it ended up bieng pointless. obviously non of the ideas could be taken further by any of the people making the focus group lol.

Oh!!! nice to have you back, as for the argueing we've sorted ourselfs and set aside our differences you don't see it on the forum but was in game oddly when I was getting tom to run some testing ^L^ after all a little understanding goes a long way. and so does relaxation!!!

I don't wanna own any server ( I don't want anywhere near the headaches you get!!!).
I just really wanna do a good job and work with the team
Sometimes I'm a bit difficult, I'll agree with that, but I really do try my best.

Now I know I'm still under suspension from using me GM Char but I have made some progress on working on some scripts, and some fixes for you. So when you are Available I'd like to give them to you on MSN and just go over what I have done to see if it meets your standards. I've been going at the Challenge room scripts in increments as well very difficult and I'm trying to map the quest flags onto the Staff section so that anybody else who has to look at the scripts can see what the switches(flags) do.

well i did it again i started with a short post in mind but kept typing. so i have broken it down a bit.

1) is a bit of info about the tar character (as i have a feeling that, that might be one of the reasons laptas posted this :P as it appears to have alot of what tar said to me the other night in it)

lol that post sounds just like a convocation i had with Tar the other night (almost to the word)

1)****just a bit of background on the Tar character,*****

he comes from the brothers Todd and Tar which have been banned from just about every single server they have played (which they will freely admit too) the reason they have been banned for each server is due to corrupt power hungry GMs not paying attention to the views of the staff.

he decided to say all this afer he was banned from the forum for insulting lapta, when infact it was his brother on his account so its another person who is we were actually sticking to the rule would be ignored, due to having his brother having access.

when i offered the guy the chance to get his forum account back if he actually put his thoughts down in a constructive form instead of just shouting abuse then he could have his account back, (the reason he was actually pissed off was due to the gem upgrader not being fully correct, but he seemed to want to take it out on me because i banned his forum account) it was at that point he started claiming that he didnt work for me, i havent done anything to help him so why should he help out a **** server like ours.

during his outburst i had to log on lone (o yeah i was on my playing character which he also was threating to expose which i thought was amusing - he likes to break all the rules he can but doesnt actually think the rules should be enforced unless that are being enforced upon a gm.)

anyway instead of listening to his abuse of myself and the server i went to bed as it was getting late.

the last server he was banned from was Mir Revenge 1.9 when it was mir labyrinth
which was down to him claiming Vigilante (the host) was corrupt so like i said if you ended up getting an earful and then throught to come on here and lay down new rules due to it, you might want to understand Tar has a fundemental problem with positions of power,(not the people that hold them as he was claiming that i was actually ok without powers, when he realised i was one of his guild mates on mir labyrinth when i was standing up for his ideas there, i didnt bother telling him i had admin power over there forums like i have hear, or that Jenix wanted me to help gm i thought it might just wind him up lol)

anyway one of his best insults is "Were you bullied at School and now you need to abuse your power to get off?" i actually think he might of been a bully at school but thats just speculation.

anyway im always willing to embrace new rules as long as they are clear and concise (not contradicting other rules and such)

you know me lapta :P always willing to explain anything even if its a nice sensitive subject


3) *Staff arguing issue*

in relation to the staff argueing, i dont think thats the case at all (i see the ironey there disputing it :P ) but i think we as a team need to be able to rip each other to peices and be able to carry on without a second thought, personally it should be more like family imo, discuss everything fully and openly, get everyones opinions and then if the ideas suk we say so without taking offense.

i mean i come out with loads of ideas the majority of which get shot down pretty quickly but it doesnt matter ill just think of more :P


but with the idea of the advisers, nothing was actualy mentioned to the team as far as i could see the first thing i saw about it was when i logged onto my char and saw "Adviser Applications closing in 2 minutes" on a saturday evening (i know i had been away so i didnt interfer as i thought it was all sorted.) but it would seem that it wasnt.

also normally when you want something done you do it yourself and make it known your involved quite loudly which if that had happened im sure dave/craig/myself woudl of been slightly more reassured, as we have been on the team for quite some time and we have done things like this before and we wernt even told or asked for any kind of advice.


it just seemed a bit odd that just about everything that has been done before has been discussed but this time it seemed as though Atrox was doing everything at lightning speed solo (which we now know wasnt the case)

lol i used to think that was my role, no wonder i feel slightly less loved since you joined *(ooo da vaj vu >.< )

im pretty sure everyone on the team loves each other even when we're annoyed at each other :P i know i love nasir even though he someone annoyes the hell outa me when hes trying to help out but makes mistakes and i think when i blow up at him he realises its only a temporary thing ^^ and carrys on taking the mick 30 minutes laters

everyone should juist smile in there posts every other line and it makes you smile in real life
