Yup, 2 pets only at lvl 62+. I had to make a choice. let players have more pets and slap a 2 hour timer on them or reduce it to only 2 pets and have no timer on them.

Edit: May I also add that with RedThreads common, its not easier to do quest, in fact its more difficult.. I see whats been done with drop files compared to what they were with certain ingredients. Its nice, we'll have to work for it

can anyone detail what pets are available, how many, what level, other requirements etc etc to assist. wasn't the pet quest supposed to be available for all and any level?

yeah below level 62 you recieve player guardians, when i tested them out you recieved 5 of them.

they had kingscorpian graphic and hurt things alot they are well worth going for.

i havent tried the 62+ ones when the event is all over and im not rushing about looking for lambs to slaughter ill log on lone and have a look. (unless dave can answer before i manage it)

that makes good sense, letting players below 62 have 5 good pets. do these aggregate with pets already on char (ie lvl up pets or tao pets before using destruct scroll) or can you only have quest pets alone?

you can get the level up pets with them (only if you level whilst you have the pet quest pets), but if you already have pets i dont believe you can get the pet quest pets.

im not sure if you can cast deva/shinny if you have the pets as a taoist, chances ar ethe shinny and deva would slow the hunt down, as wheni had my pets i was litterally running just about everything to them and they would kill the majority of the stuff before i had found another lure. (was in psc so not amazingly tough mobs but great all the same )


i even managed to kill an omalord with them once i had them at level 7 but the omalord did kill one and it was a struggle to keep the thing slowed so i had to call a taoist to hide and curse but we managed it (im not sure if i would try it with pets that i wasnt testing tho, maybe if i was about to log off or something)
