Gems and orbs..

Ok jus seen the prices of how much it costs to upgrade gems. although its alot better than what it was, i still think its a waste of time. unluckygems cost a few pennies to buy which is fine but it wil then cost you 500k to upgrade them to a gem which would b worth 200k max. then it would take 3 of them (1.5m) to make a lucky gem and most of them are cheaper than that.

maybe make it so u need some ore to upgrade gems..
ore and a small amount of money to upgrade to orbs..
then a different kind of ore to uprade your orbs..

this mite not filter the money out of the game, but will give noobs adn lower lvl people a chance to make abit of cash from ore they mine etc.....

as for gems it currently costs 500k to make a gem, again this is a pointless feature because i dnt think there is a gem out there which costs over 500k. so in the long run you are only loosing money. so people willnot use them.

I think i can see the reasoning behind making the prices so high. to filter cash out of the game. this is a good way to do it, if people wernt going to loose money doing it. its ok to say that it could raise prices of gems, but it wont... people see the prices it costs to do these things and think sod it, cba to wait around for prices to go up when these things are dropping. (well @least i did )

i appreciate what who ever coded these NPCs are trying to do, but maybe making prices cheaper will speed up the rate cash is filtered out. it also give noobs a chance to make money from these.

i have several gems sitting in variouse stores i want to upgrade, because i cnt spend heaps of cash on orbs, but with the prices to do these things it would infact be cheaper to buy the orbs themselves.

it should also get the possable 100's of marbles lying about shifted and put to use.

yea i pointed this out in bug section, it got moved to "fixed bugs" part with out any reply, and nothing was done about this.

Too bad that all the recoding of Crafts Lady was mostly for nothing

TBH you could just sell the ore thats needed to make a gem, and get more than what some gems cost in TM.

but surly if prices where reduced then the amount of gems/orbs would increase, lowering the market making cash change hands between players more frequent, and giving the poorer people a chance to make a kit which is up to the standard of every one else.. well most people lol.

i understand what you are trying to say dave but tbh, you always had the cash to do most things, same as alot of old players, but because drops have been reduced and cash is harder to obtain newer players dont really have much of a chance to bring them to the same level.

bring the price down and the market should level out abit with a constant flow of gems and orbs enabling newer / poorer players to make money this way and build a kit.

at the moment i dont think gems get used exept to piss about with. newer/poorer players wont attempt to gem something they have just had to save up for weeks to get.

Yeah the u gems to gems is 500k? lol, thats quite exp .

But, the gms are doin good on their part, I'm happy with the way orbs drop now, good job gms , cba finding the lil face with the thumbs up soz :/

still... 4.5mill to make an unlucky so 13.5 to make an orb. magic orbs are 19m atm.. its an easy 5.5mill

alternatly you can just save up your lucky gems that drop in game and get orbs for 2 mill

In my opinion gem-orb upgrade could be a bit more cheaper (not much tho, as its still useable, and used alot.)
But the making of gems is totally pointless thisway, and i think that should need looking into first!

althou i am finding it harder than before to make money this way, so it would be nice to lower the cost of making so i can make more profit in total

this is wot im tryin to say...

i know you can make money further down the line if u go straight from norm orb to lucky. the point i am getting at is the fact there is loads of marbles, unlucky gems clogin up the DB cuz it is a pointless task converting them. well a non protifable one. so y not make it so you dont have to spend the earth to make use of them in an effective way. clear some of the backlog of gems and marbles. give lower and poorer players a chance to make some money.

i have over 100 gems alone (most of them unluckies) sitting on a store char atm along with some marbles. im going to have to start filling another char up full of them @ this rate. i can gather about 20+ gems on a single hunt if i go to the right places. and they are just sitting there because unless orb and gem prices skyrocket, i will only loose money trying to make use of them, alot of people leave them lying on the floor but im sure there are others out there with stacks of these things wanting to make use of them but dnt want to because the there is no return.
