    Default list of some of the crap in MR

    Right im starting to get pissed off at certain things in MirRevenge people always moan bla bla bla without giving any evidence as to their reasons...so now its my turn...

    WIZARDS

    Magic Shield - Simple really Magicshield sucks in pvp Vs a warrior.. the simple fact that TwinDBlade/ thrusting hit right through it makes it unfair on a wizard.

    Thunderstorm - Useless wizard spell that has no affect on players, and neither on mobs since FF is aquired. supposed to be the strongest attack to undead mobs (apart from TU obviously) but is no longer used as its just crap

    Wizards HP - WITHOUT ANY +HP ITEMS at level 65+ wizards have roughly 500 HP (if u cant see a problem there already your idiots)

    TAOIST

    The only problem that ive seen while playing a tao is that Deva is never and i mean (160+amc) Never misses its target. other than that i believe their poison is fine etc

    WARRIOR

    TDB Way overpowered
    PA/Slow stupid (been stupid for ages)
    Ridicilous HP compared to any other class




    when it comes to classes WIZARD is the only class that has pointless skills that are NEVER used, whereas- tao's and warriors use every spell they get.......



    moving on....

    MOBS + BOSSES

    the following places need to be looked over VERY carefully

    JichonTemple - wizards can make up to 100m from drops in 30 mins (due to ALL orbs dropping)

    EvilProvince[cave towards laptaKR] - (these mobs are very tough, its only best to TU them and they never drop anything yet are harder than jichon mobs... well more hp)

    SlaveCave 2nd floor - MirKing (the fake ones) are pointless being there as they dont drop anything apart from a random bene once in a blue moon... slaves drop better than this... and it takes an item to gain access there...

    Khazard - i dont even have to type anything for this pointless boss

    Mounted captain - this is a Tough bastard in jichon temple that cant be solo'd easily.... even with 160 amc 160 ac it will pwn a wizard level 65+

    EvilHen - 7020 exp says it all

    mysterycave/battleground - sux


    ITEMS


    Hardened ring - needs to be orbable
    Easternecklace - worse than easterchain and harder to create







    theres much more i want to cover, but i cant think of it right now as im just writing off the head... but seriously, tell me if ive gone wrong anywhere in this topic... cos to me, with these small changes.. it wud make the game a bit more fair

    i also agree, something needs to be done to wizard hp due to the massive increase of MC/SC/DC. Health needs to scale better.

    Dont see the point in this comment. Wiz get new spells as they level, so they dont use there old spells. IF you are saying you think wiz's should be able to delete old spells then why not say that.

    Thats quite a list.. I must agree with the points on wizards...

    MagicSheild needs some adjusting, it was designed and is probably still set for the stats in euromir where the highest dc was like 1/4 of that on here - it is pretty useless when it comes to pvp. Regardless of it warriors have far too much of an advantage over wizzies with the low HP/AC that wizzies tend to have... as without any hp+ items wiz HP is ridiculous to say the least.

    Thunderstorm has no need, just.. no need, either it needs tweaked or deleted, I know most wizards don't bother to learn this, why not change it into some kind of lion-roar like skill.

    Although yes in group wizards are a really good class if they work together, there's just too much of an indifference, when 10 levels below you can 1 hit you theres something going on.


    Taoists are okay actually, perhaps could do with something in the region of thunderstorm (keeping with the holy theme) and Holy needs added to items in the DB, because I'm positive it works.. its just not noticed because of the sheer lack of +holy on items. The only thing that gets me with taos is the length of time things last, its ourageous lol.

    I would like to see a purification pot introduced, not common but not too rare, but it allows classes to unpoison themselves - would be especially useful to counter-act the PA bug.


    Warriors, now this is interesting. The rugged class. They are powereful as they are meant to be, but I always envisioned them to be weak to magic attacks, but this is never the case obv. The reason wars are so overpowered I think is due to the likes of the added PA and Slow and Acc... its ridiculous. Dev has slow+10 and pa+10 from his necky alone! i think the DC isn't as balanced as it may be with other stats. 200DC does FAR more damage than 200mc would for instance. But this would require a load of tedious testing to overcome.

    Jamie, its pretty much nearly balanced and its a good server to play, but a few minor tweaks will indeed enhance gameplay and bring a fairer edge with the battle of the classes.


    EDIT: Jamie replied as I was typing this.. In regards to HP+ items Jamie, look at what HP+ is available on, you are sacraficing too many stats to add some HP+, need to reconsider this I think.

    I would also like to get a hold of you or a GM to actually try to test Holy to see if it works, as if it does and can we easily sorted its an interesting aspect to add for taos. I accept that things are hard coded, but I'd have thought spells had a DB setting whereby damage and such can be altered.

    i say reduce dc on items take pa + slow of items such as braces (thts just stupid imo). Jump from normal items ie watchers kit, warrbells, to mir items/revenge items is weey to big imo. Atm there is two halfs to mir the elite who only compete with the elite and the mediokas who can only compete with the mediokas. Isnt balanced all round.

    Item stat changes that need to be addressed that are already posted in the relevant sections.

    As for balancing classes, Wizzards need a tad more HP (lvl 65 at least 800Hp).

    Warriors need AMC seriously nerfing. Warriors should be Dc / Ac based fighters. Their only weakness being magic attacks. Maybe less Dc ... but I dont think thats needed if their Amc gets reduced (On Mir/MR Items).

    Taos - CHM skill is great for helping them level. I think they are fine now. I know what you mean about Deva hitting everytime, but I think thats fine, taos need all the help as it is whilst delivering single based attacks.


    Jinchon Temp, not sure why you said wizzards can make loads of cash, warriors and taos can kill there too (although may take longer, but thats the case if mobs drop 10 or 100 mill). Tbh drops seem fine, soon orbs will be cheaper anyway, giving the "less rich" people oppertunity to improve their kit via orbs.

    As for mobs in Yims Path, I find them easier than Jinchon Mobs, although agreed maybe they could drop something other than charms.

    ok ill give some comments.

    JinchonTemple is quite stupid if u ask me the drops are weigh to good, i went their last nite and the place was covered in level 50 armours and other decent items (which i forgot the names of). i ran further in and saw 1 character solo'ing the whole of each room just e-shocking the mutantcaptains i must say the character was a high level (80+). but this place is meant to be a high level hunting area.

    EvilProvince(cave) if you mean the 1 called yimoogipath (leads to laptasnest) this place has alot of drops i was watching a group of people in there hunting floor was covered in alot of them quest items (the 1s u need for pet quest i think) sell them and make well more than 100mil tbh. oh and the group[ there wasnt TU'ing anything.

    but both of these moans/complaints are down to drops which i beleive are being looked into because alot of mobs are dropping better than they should be.

    Magic Shield - doesnt suck vs mobs and if tbd didnt cut thru warrs wouldnt hurt......

    Thunderstorm -is a useless spell but who cares. It wasnt meant for uber kits and mc we got on here its for noobs to stand a chance and help on euro.... ( i know this isnt euro but thats what the spell is for)

    Wizards HP - its a shame but thats MR

    its good that deva never misses else they wouldnt have a chance

    WARRIOR

    TDB- i play a wizz and i reckon its ok
    Its just warriors PA/Slow - you knows its there so adpat to it.
    Its warrior HP its supposed to be high

    JichonTemple - so can warriors and its a good place to get money.... this place has lowered the prices ingame to a more afforable level.

    EvilProvince[cave towards laptaKR] - good leveling f u have decent AC or a group. The mobs have 140k xp lol

    SlaveCave 2nd floor - This was a good place but the amount of benes droppin before was silly.

    Khazard - tis good boss. i kill it everytime in IC. not much effort required to kill and i can drop. Ive had a mystical helm today from it...

    Mounted captain - lmao i love this mob cos u gotta be tactiful instead of bargin in. Soon wipes us all out if we dont pay attention. Good imo

    EvilHen - 7020 exp says it all - PASSIVE dont hit it then

    mysterycave/battleground - gettin looked at . so wait?

    Hardened ring - needs to be orbable - the stats on it rule so why make it orbable?
    Easternecklace - damn bottom right bit doesnt want to drop. Dont see why its worse tho.
