About Poison And Leveling

when i go leveling in tao by PoisonCloud i dont get EXP :P and gold drop on ground that means i didnt kill the mobs lol can u and am sure about it and tryed it alot before i post this can some 1 cheak on it please

theres a timer on mobs, was around 30 seconds on most other servers, for killing them. if you poison them and they don't die within that time you will not get the exp for the mob. the best thing to do is keep the mobs your killing revealed. when they get close to dying poison them all again, this will reset the timer and you will get the exp and the gold will go into your bag and not drop on the ground

wel.. tbh thats not fair lol most of the noob taos dont got good sc to kill even bugcave mobs in 30 sec < so i think it should be increased

back in the day poison was ownage i remember many solo trips to zt 7th poison cloud and pets ftw could clear it out in 15 minutes

yeah i think it was abit too powerful then but now its just wank tbh i think the main thing is it drained hp to quick before i remember havin like 75 sc and easily killin lvl 60+ warriors within 30 seconds

dont need it that good lol leave it as its but for mobs and exp thing we need it last 2 min or so till what ever dunno something something

Yep, like Zanox said. However this is why Spirit Wind was introduced to address this issue.

Only problem is the skill is so rare atm no taos can take advantage of the skill.

I tested this other in BC with 130sc. I poisoned 1 bug mob and watched it die. It died I got exp but the gold went onto the floor. I then killed 5 more to be sure and same thing happened. The exp i was gaining was said in chatbox and my exp bar was going up so the gold on the floor isnt a reliable source as to whether you get exp or not. Also with like sc70 I was able to kill the BC mobs in 1 Poison cloud and get exp (was in a recall set recalling my noob as I went along to level it :P)

gold drops on floor if things die from poison, same with PA, difference is with PA u tend to be hitting the thing wen it dies anyway so it doesnt matter...

pretty sure u do get al the exp tho just if u want the gold u gotta wait n pick it up :P
