Tao Items @ level 70 - Official Reply Please? :)

Tao items -:

I don?t know if anyone has noticed, but what do tao?s have to level for after level 66? Here?s a list of items:

Force Necklace ? lvl 67 (Bearing in mind lvl 62 Youth Necklaces are better ? 5 Levels Lower!)
Lvl 70 armour ? (not very good stats same as every lvl 70 armour)
Tainted SC Stone

This is actually really really bad, look at other classes for example:

Weapons @ lvl 70 ?

Wizards: Casting Wand
Warriors: Oma Blade
Taos: [Nothing]

Necklaces @ lvl 70:

Wizards: Beads Of Wisdom
Warriors: Chain Of Death
Taos: [Nothing]

Rings @ lvl 70:

Wizards: Hardened Rings
Warriors: Death Rings
Taos: [Nothing]

Lets look at other braces too;

Adamantine Braces ? Uber braces for wizards, once orbed up they are comparable to Mir Braces
Devil Wheels- Pretty Uber Dc + Accuracy, a well used brace for warriors

Numa Shield and Glove ? Not sure about these 2, they have some SC + Dc but not much else. I think the only ones ingame are the ones given out as rewards or in events?

Taos have no class specific Braces above level 60 (Devil Gloves) tbh. They need some braces with average Ac + Amc, good Sc (sc15 ish) and some Dc (8-10). Not including other stats that Taos should have on their items, such as Good Agility, Holy and some Accuracy.

What happened to that Tao Set that was being planned months ago? There was a massive thread full of people suggesting items stats, seems to have disappeared.

You may say theres not many taos that are level 70, well can you blame them? Lol. If you have no Mir / Heaven items, theres Nothing to level for after level 66. Saying that, there are a few Tao?s approaching level 70 and I think its unfair that Warriors & Wizzards get to improve their kit at 70, while Tao?s receive no bonuses at all. There should at the very least be a new weapon at level 70.

Items I can suggest for example are:

Force Necklace Level 67/70 ? Sc 12-18 Dc 8-12 Accuracy+ 2 Agility+10 Holy+8

Level 65/66/70 Glove ? Ac 8-8 Amc 8-8, Sc 8-15 Dc8-8 Agility+8 Accuracy+8 Holy+8
Level 70 Rings ? Ac 3-5 Amc 5-8 Sc 12-18 Dc 5-8
Level 70 Weapon ? Sc 25-45 Dc 25-60 Accuracy+6 Holy+6

Please can I have an official reply as to why the only decent items for taos finish at level 66? Or if there are any plans to address this issue?

tbh m8.I remember asking the same question a while ago and never got a responce.All jamie ever said was he will loo in to it.
I think this subject keeps getting pushed aside is the fact there are very few taos at lvl 70 and above.
Taos always get left aside the majority of the server are either warriors or wizards hence why taos get a hard time of it all the time.Crap items only leads to slower leveling.
If taos had there own range of tao items for level 70+ people would only moan because taos own to much.Yet there to lazy to make them and put the hard grewling work in to level them.

face it dem no one likes you or any other high level tao tbh, u are all g33k0rz to get that high on a tao anyways. you dont deserve to be rewarded for geekin it. you deserve a slap if anything.

i agree though.

curse needs nerfing tho, and a damge spell like advsfb upping imo.

whenever i fight taos i just hp pot whilst running and SD'ing its a pointless fight :S

Also Tar, do you really think those stats are too good? Compare those stats to level 60 tao items and then to level 70 Wizzy and Warr items.

Maybe the stats are quite high, but they are still nothing compared to Mir/Mir Revenge Items. Face it, how many Taos are level 70, and how many wizzies / warriors are level 70?

The fair few taos who would actually be able to use these level 70 items deserve some decent stats imo, Level 70 tao must be close to a level 80 wizard (in ratio to levelling times)
