these are very time consuming to get as u may know lol.. so if im happily using my pets and then theres guna be a reboot will i get the scroll refunded; if i can prove i was using the pets just b4 reboot?

i think that would be sensible it is a long term quest.

i assume having a screenie of the pets a couple of minutes before the reboot should be plenty of proof. imo.

buuuut! the pets should be collected there and then by the character other wise you could use the pets for 3/4 days, wait for reboot then sell the replacement scroll




either that or we could try and have a scheduled reboot setup, if we knew server would go down on a tuesday monring for a reboot everyone would be able get their pets at a suitable time. either way random reboots are always annoying :P

Reason you get 5 destruction scrolls is because of Lag outs and Reboots, cause Jamie said what if they do that then they gonna bitch at him about losing expensive pets. So had to make the NPC give out 5 scrolls as reward. However if you did use a scroll with in 5 hours prior to a reboot, as a Gm I'd give you another to make up for it. But you still lose the cash it costs to get the pets.

k this is a small idea but ya cud just make a new npc or put an extra bit of script into the existin npc to kill ur pets and get the scrolls bk? that way there'd b no excuses if there was a reboot or w/e as ppl wud no they can get the scrolls bk then it'd b their own fault
