seein as tom didnt global to tell n e 1 lol....

Refining is bugged. seems like a 100% success rate. has been tried and tested by scorp with which i would say 100% fail recepies lol.

ive refined a dstaff for summert to do and done +9 stats on it without breaking nothin (which isnt like me)

so i tested another wep with a high fail chance recepie.. (magestaff with a ruby ring) then just to confirm it i done it again on a red char who had just pked and stuck it in with a charm ring.... worked lol.

so i gots tom to refine a omablade with 2 boundless rings which worked...
then a mirsword with 1 dragon ring... again worked lol.

So just as a warning dont use it incase its looked apon as bug exploiting

Did Scorpio test the refining on his GM character? because a GM's luck differs from the average player. Niceone on the warning.

The reason why i never global shouted it, was because I still wasn't sure. But basicly the success rate is stupid. I managed to refine a Mir Sword 3 times with a dragon ring, after that never tried again xD But, im taking Sables word in saying that the same happens for the players.

and nasir m8 ye he did do it on his GM char lol. i did ask if he would let me do it, but he sed he wasnt alowed to give me stuff which if fair.

I understand, he done a good job being fair. I didn't mean he should of given things to other players to do, but to do the refining himself (on a new char he can make) so the GM's body luck isn't there=p

would it be possible to check to see if anyone refined previous to the reported bug and not reported it?

i know there is @least 4 ppl who have, myself, jeffbobs, ladysilver/bloodraven and pob has said he was doing it aswell..

ive done a mc 19 dstaff and mc6 magestaff

jeff i think has done mc23 EoE and +1 dc on a revsword (dunno if that was added b4 hand)

Ladysilver has done a sc 40 preistsword and mc29 MW

pob i think said he was up to +8 on his crafted blade

oh and jayjay refined his revblade lol +1 dc

so thats 5 i know of
