Seeings as we cannot make any comments on the post on the sticky.

Blackpool is a long way for some people to travel to and my suggestion of the Saturday was that not everyone works on a Saturday and schools / colleges / uni's not open then people would have time to travel etc.

Now it's the Friday that has blown that one out.

Oh well enjoy your selves.

in the first thread lapta was talking about a funtction room within the pub, I assume that you have to pay and book that in advance perhaps thats why its changed to a friday, he did ask for a rough date and hes done fairly well to give you as close as possible to what you asked for.
it could be that the function room was already booked for the saturday by someone else, meaning having to find somewhere else for a saturday which is far more hassle than just changing the date slightly.

its unfortunate that some ppl cant make it on a friday but lets face it your never going to please everyone.
if your gonna be there then great see you there! if not then bad luck maybe next time...
if ppl really wanna go then they will get there no matter what, i understand that ppl might have college or whatever that they cant just skip but its your choice as to what you do, the working lot of us will just have to book the time off work

O yeah i was thinking of some rules/guide lines for the mir meet too,


things like.


1) No PKing (fighting)

2) No Drop stealing when someone falls over drunk!

3) Will we need guards on the door (bouncers :P)

4) Will you need your ID to be able to complete the Bar Quest?

me and the girlfriend are planning on taking a bucket and spare and a bottle of PVA glue to be able to stick the pebbles together with were gonna have the best solid castle on that beech!
