Gemming items that you can not orb.

Well i thought i would put this idea past you all 1st to see what you think.

I have worked out a way to gem items, (via any npc) that you normally can't gem, such as mir brac.

You WONT be able to orb them, just GEM them so there is a risk of breaking.

This is a great way to make make some nice items such as added stats gale risks.

Also a way to rise the price of gem's in game, and also get people to pick them up.

sounds like a great idea i still have a couple of reasonable gale rings on a store char somewhere from before they stopped being gem/orbable


i know you said not orbable but if there was a way to do it, making it 50mil a go to try and orb an uber would be a great way to rip millions of cash out of the server as people start ot dura up there pros/teles/clears/paras etc.

Any Chance u could make it that Easter Items are Gemable but not orbable aswell. seems like there are alot floating about in tm lol, would take alot outa game and make hunting the pieces worth while.

tbh, if it was 50m to orb a mir item, plus the fact lucky orbs are 25m... only the very rich could do it and would remove gold nicely, 1 for one have 30m atm lol so i wudnt be doing that in a hurry :S

and 50mill for a chance to dura orb a para, is still expensive, especially as they fail alot so its just 50m down the pan lol :S

If it Costs 50M to ORB the item then Yes it would be VERY helpful to remove gold.

But I wouldn't dare orb anything at that price especially when there's no guarantee it'll work 100% lol

to be honest i would use the npc im current saving cash to buy myself a pro ring which range massively depending on the dura. if i was to be able to buy a dura 2/2 pro ring massively reduced but being able to save myself 1bil gold and spend that trying to orb it i think its a bargin


it wouldnt happen often but those that did it would be removing large chunks of cash jsut like that (and just think it would only take 1 drunken night and the richest player on the server could become one of the poorest )
