    Default Some calculation i should of done a long time ago... Info about new rebirth boosts

    SO when rebirth was put in everyone was moaning about mp and hp and bonus stat lose, so i have worked it all out, and will be changing the HPMP boost pots to reflect the changes.

    Warriors:- As we know this was the most bugged class with regards to getting stupid amounts of HP and hidden PA bonus well leveling up. Now that level 300+ warriors are a thing of the past and people have seen that the changes were for the best here is wat warrior lose when rebirthing.
    HP - 6,354 HP is lose when rebirthing, the bonus pot currenlty give them 2,800, WAT A KICK IN THE TEETH!!! Pot will be adjusted.
    MP - only 402 MP is lost when rebirthing, the bonus post currenlty gives them 1,400 MP LMFAO!!!!! pot will be adjusted.
    AC - 16 AC bonus lose
    DC - 23 - 23 bonus lose

    Taoist:- The worst moaning players in game, no matter what i do to aid them they moan like *** so lets see how badly they have been effected by the changes.
    HP - 3,434 HP is lose when rebirthing, the bonus pot currenlty give them 2,000, not to bad. Pot will be adjusted.
    MP - 4195 MP is lost when rebirthing, the bonus post currenlty gives them 2,000 MP HARSH!!!!! pot will be adjusted.
    AMC - 9 - 18
    DC - 15 - 15
    SC - 15 - 15

    Wizards:- The nicest and most messed around class on the server, but no matter how much we try we cannot balace them out But let see how there stats hold up.
    HP - 2,736 HP is lose when rebirthing, the bonus pot currenlty give them 1,400, could be worst Pot will be adjusted.
    MP - only 12,038 MP is lost when rebirthing, the bonus post currenlty gives them 2,800 MP LMFAO!!!!! pot will be adjusted. And warriors moaned about HP loss!
    MC 14 - 17

    So you have the figures, now you wanna know wat i am going to do i guess.
    Well this is wat i am going to do.
    Each rebirth level will get there lost bouns points added on to there rebirth pot, and it will be stacked so...

    A level 1 rebirth warrior will get 6,354, level 2 will get 12,708 etc. Same with MP and DC/SC/MC.

    As i am not 100% sure wat sort of effect the new HP/MP boosts are going to have in game, i and going to say that the boosts will be trialed for a few days, and as long as it dosn't really *** up the game, i see no problems in leaving them. BUT please note, this is a trial and can be changed at any time if i feel that the new boosts are over powered.

    Sounds great to me I already knew what warriors were losing and the fact that they gain too much mp from the pots (I did mention the fact that I have 6.5k mp atm ) But I had no idea how much MP wizards had lost I think god3 will be a happy boy when he see's he gets a 36k mp boost lol
    and yes I see exactly wat your saying about the trial and completely agree, I never really expected the boosts to make up completely for what stats you lose from rebirthing just as long as the bonuses we get back are balanced. Like if we were to only get 50% of one stat back then we shud get 50% of all stats back on each class, as before now we've been getting like 30% of our hp back and about 300% mp back as a warrior

    Anyway I'm happy and cant wait to see how the trial goes Thanks for all your hard work Jamie You do care about us rebirthers after all ^__^

    The Only Reason Warrior's Are Moaning About Losing HP Is Because They Haft Kill Mobs/Bosses Pvp/Pk Face 2 Face Witch As You Know Tao's And Wizard's Don't Because They Can Fight From A Far Distance.

    I understand rebirthing removes the glitches inherent to very high levels, but one thing I do find amusing is that when you rebirth, it then becomes easier to level than before? (Now people only have to do the levels 70-170 when people were on the exp limit before?)

    And now with these corrections you are making, there's no stat loss? Meaning a high rebirth level is the same as being a very high level before, but it's easier than ever to level further?

    I look forward to watching someone trying to kill a level 3+ rebirth wiz with a pro ring on ^_^. It's fair enough though with all the madness the longevity of such a high stat server has brought about, your damned if you try fix it, and ure damned if you leave it be.

    I'd like to see some progress on mir revenge 2! Lot of experience learnt from running this server so long, get a cleverly thought out and well tested exp curve and stat progression, and you'll make it a lot easier for yourself.

    Love people who post uter crap trying to tell me how to do my job. Not even going to make any futher comments as i have upset enough people this week.
    The server file si am using, the only one that work have so many hidden boosts and stupid mistakes in them which are only discovered when people get to that level or find the bug, and i do my best to fix the problem with the resources i have, which is next to none.

    There's a reason that this new system will be trialed and there's a reason Lapta typed what I highlighted from his first post.

    I too suspect that the trial will have to be changed and tailored in certain ways, but the whole rebirth system is new and being added to a already long running server so inevitably will take time to be tweaked to fit and suit the server and players.

    P.S Jamie I just remembered a little bug I found with the new DC boosts you get from RBapples, basically its just that a taoist can use ultimate enhancer to cancel out a warriors dc boost, which I guess not much can be done about but it is kinda annoying. I'll post in bug section as you got enough to deal with atm

    You'll do well to upset me as I was just airing my thoughts about the predicament rebirth brings to you (though "utter crap" did make me cry inside ). You seem to have skimmed a couple though, as in:

    . Not telling you how to do your job, not saying you've not done well. What I was saying is that this server has gone on (i'm guessing) much longer and better than even you anticipated and was already planned to be high rate. So naturally you are fighting against the high stat nature of the server expanding over time, hence you are damned either way you try tackle it. Thus I eagerly anticipate progress on your other project as I believe with the experience obtained it'll be much more in your control, and you'll hopefully be able to avoid trying to balance things later on. Hopefully leaving your life stress free (relatively) and probably bring a bit more joy back to the work
