Levelling is a joke

so far from level 50 - 74 (my level atm) i am finding it extremely hard to find a place that levels me up at a decent rate. atm i am going to places like BDD (not enough mobs tbh), AST (for collectme's for pets), PSC and i even went to LostShip and Yimoogis (which had almost 0 mobs in them, lostship more so).

from all the above places i am getting less than 0.05% per mob and for the number of mobs in them places that is insanely low. its going to take me like 6 hours or something to get 1 level and when i level up it is only going to get worse.

maybe reduce the level for exp pots in the SN NPC thats apart from increasing spawns is the only solution i can see. or tell em the secret levelling place.

alot of the old players started on lvl 0 and had to work at it, you go to lvl 49 now and when you lvl to 55 you get to lvl 70 71 with the free lvl if you have done the sn npc task. it isnt hard to lvl, i lvl in bdd most of the time. try insect cave or zt not great exp but loads of mobs so it works out better in my opinion.

Was different back then, or months ago was easy to get EXP POTS x2 x3s, now you can't so it makes low level leveling bollocks.

lol the mobs in them places are slim at best if they where plenty i wouldnt be moning, it just doesnt seem like this server wants the lower levels to catch up lol. all the spawn rates are ****e except for in AST but the exp is awful in there, seems they have been reduced so the higher level could have there spawn rates upped.

server has been updated to stay inline with the current levels of players in game, therefore is aimed at high level players, the people who have stuck around from the start.
I try and keep the server noob friendly, but with the limits of the server files and the amount of mobs i can have in game its not that easy to balance out.
The SN NPC will give you level 70 for doing next to nothing.
There are around 24 million mobs in game at any one time, so saying there arn't enough mobs in game is bollox, max users on this week was 100, so 100/24 million = 240,000 so that an avg of 240,000 per person per hour, and i know that some people players can't get to every area of the game, but if u said u could only get to 1/10th of the areas in game thats still 24,000 mobs per person per hour.
Maybe try differant hunting areas?
I have seen people like regine level from 130 to 150 in a a day...

Must also add that the current database in game is totally ***ed up which will be fixed today.

Wow 130-150, in a day? I didn't think that was even remotely possible. Regine is a Wizard so that should be taken in to consideration. But having said that it does help a great deal to know your surroundings, which is something I'm slowly adjusting to again as alot has changed since I last played full-time.

Agree completely that there not being enough mobs in game in bollox, you need to know the right areas and some of the areas mentioned in the first post could have only been empty if there was already somebody there killing all the mobs.

Having said that, and I was going to add this to the "things to do thread" but I dont want Lapta to think I want this done today, but after all the lower floors of noob caves were removed along with a couple of provinces we were supposed to be having more mobs added and more caves added. I wondered if this was still on the cards for something to come in the future?

I also had a thought, were the highest level BDD level caves ever removed? Like the lvl 200+ BDD that obviously cant be used thanks to rebirth? If not that would be something to help the mob count limit

Lvling needs time and if you cba then go somwhere else .
My daughter spens not much time on here and she lvls fine people have had it too easy you should start as noobs from lvl 1 and work your way up.

you are right it should be hard to level up, but surely not from 70+ more like 100+ when you can kill mobs in the harder places (which spawn more often or more amounts).

it is hard to play when everyone else is such a high level maybe reduce the exp required or something. i know plenty of you have been around for longer than me (without my gap ofcourse) but surely all of us can only benenift from mroe players enjoying the experience.

reduce the spawns in AST (which is the only place that seems full enough) and put them somewhere else, like PSC or BDD.

TBH though all this probably comes from the massive boost you get when a gm puts some extra exp on and you think to yourself "whats the point levelling until a GM put some exp on" lol.

I think and( Lapta might back me up on this).
If something is too easy then people leave the server
70+ isnt hard to lvl tbh just need to spend time and that goes for EVERYONE who plays
wherever you go at whatever lvl it can get tedious but there are other diversions ingame
jees i been lvl 200 and it gets bloody boaring tbh
