PC Trouble

I know this is wrong area but don't move it as will never get a reply.


My problem is this:

My computer is recieving packets for internet but not sending them. so basically i am downloading but never uploading and this means i cannot surf the web. i have changed my IP n all with no avail. i even set my IPV4 to a static IP. yet the IPV6 doesn't update it's self. normally im not bad at this kinda thing but i am completely stumped. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Normally I would laugh at this but I feel like I have lost a limb lol. I can't keep usin phone for net...

done search, only 1 link found and i tried what it adv but no joy happened all of a sudden as well.

Tried vix. No joy. Never seen this before. How I can download etc, but can't surf. So weird. Tried changing cables, resetting everything inc router and nothing

in command prompt:
netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
and then:
netsh winsock reset

or for the winsock go to HKEYLOCALMACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services and delete it and windows will make a new one when u restart

u could also try changing ur dns from detect auto to ur actually dns address

restart and then check

u say ur good with this stuff so uv prob tried this already, if so gl 2 ya! backup and format! i had it once and nothing seemed 2 work, spent so long on it i might aswell have formatted.

Tried dns and no joy but will try winsock when I get home and see.

before you start pissing assing around with random crap, was your PC working ok before? and if so when did it stop working?
