    Default 9 new hunting areas

    Don't get excited :P
    Remember when i said i am removing the floors from caves as noone uses them, and adding a map just for hutning well these are the maps.

    There are 9 areas, which are:-
    Taoist Hunting Area
    Wizard Hunting Area
    Warrior Hunting Area
    Rebirth Hunting Area
    Group Hunting Area
    Guild Hunting Area
    Boss Hunting Area
    Drop Hunting Area
    Hunting Area

    Hope the name gives way the areas, but just in case...
    There is an area for each class, and the mobs will be based around the class.
    There is a rebirth map, for rebith players only.
    There is a map for groups only, you need to be in a group to enter, and as i cannot force people to stay in a group, the whole map will be full of mobs so you bascally won't be able to move (well thats the plan)
    An area full of bosses, you will have to pay or do a task to get in to this area, it will have bosses as well as normal mobs, but the bosses here will drop. (your understand wat i mean when you have read the full post)
    Guild area will be for the owners of subak (well great wall) with a limited teleport in time frame and group number and amount of time you can spend in the map, this is the only map where all the mobs drops (again your understand wat i mean when you have read the full post)

    Drop hunting area, this area will have some drops, nothing major, mainly noob stuff, will more then likely put a level cap on this area.

    And then there is the basic area where everyone can hunt.

    There will be NO safe area.

    All these area are for pure EXP only, i am not saying that these areas will have stupid amounts of EXP, as they wont, i am saying that the drop rate in here will be next to *** all (unless otherwise stated) and the spawn rate will be pretty high.

    Each map is only 1 floor each, and you will have a limited time you an be in the map, and there will be a max amount of players who can be in the map at any one time, this is to make it worth hunting.

    These maps are being added to make up for the lost of some of the noob areas, if people like the new areas then i will add some more floors to them, if however the maps do not go down to well then the maps will be removed.

    sound gd but not likeing the idea of limited time and how many ppl can be in at once y aint they just like a normal cave? but obv with only 1 floor? if 1 certain cave is better it will bring fights to that cave and make it fun instead of only being able to be in it for 10mins or w/e

    cus its a hunting cave, not a fighting cave, there are being added as a quick fix hunting ground.
    Time limit will be around 30 minutes, and limited to around 6 people per cave (single caves)
    The guild and group caves will be limited to 3 group of 4-6.
    The boss cave wil be limited to around 20 minutes, with group of up to 10 people.

    If you do the math that adds up to 88, and with an avg user count of around 65 lately, everyone can hunt in the new caves at the same time.

    im sure half the forum users r my exs cos they moan like bitches n dont even let u finish b4 sticking their oar in ffs...lets see how these caves work first b4 criticizing..give them a chance then if need tweaking they can be..so far they sound good

    Could we possibly get a non-rebirth cave for us noobs, maybe where orbs drop properly and stuff as it does seem more and more that anyone who isnt rebirthed is at a serious disadvantage in getting cash, exp and not being exterminated for being somewhere that an rb player seems to think they own.
    I like the idea of the caves but is bichon mines now closed as it was the only place i could get pet teleports from so now i will also be without pets in a few days.
    I am currently trying to convince people in my gaming clan (12 years old and still going) to play this game but tbh its getting to the stage where i am wondering if it is worth starting unless you are prepared to spend several hundred pounds in cash to get rb as fast as possible.
    I would say that I do love the improvements you have made to the game since i first beta tested many many years ago, but being a noob sux @$$

    on the next reboot a whole new noob area has been added to streamline you players through the boring stages of playing.
    There is a cave for noob players.
    And TBH, why should noob players get HUGE benifits when people have been playing the server for almost 7 years. I am trying to help new players as much as i can, but the fact of the matter is, the server is old, and there is no reason why new players should have huge benifits from day 1 when many other players have spent thousands of hours getting to the stage they are at.
    As much as i would love to say, yeah come start the server its great, the factg of the matter is it's not that great for noob players, and everytime i make it more noob frienndly the long term players lose out, and they don't moan, they just get on with it, but the noobs seem to think that they have every right to moan about every little change in game.

    That post is not aimed at you personally btw.

    As someone who runs a GSP on behalf of someone i understand the balance of noob vrs old players, i myself am old!
    I also understand fully the problems of running a game where new and old players both compete for their own corner, but in the end what will bring more people in to stay for 7 years? i myself only found you by chance after playing some Mir3 servers which were (tbh) awful along with crashing clients and bugs galore i was impressed to finally find someone who knew what they were doing, however i would say this, new players = new blood and although i totally agree that you cant over bias twords them. there should be some way to encourage them to keep coming back week in week out.
    I havent been here 7 years, its about 2-3 months maybe, but i have found a snobbery against new players from rb players and in the first month not a single person would talk to me or help in any way. In fact the only contact with higher people was being killed by them for being in "noob" areas like stone tomb.
    I would say that if it wasnt for god3 i would have given up long ago and also swordsman who finally told me how to upgrade stuff and what was available to gain mc/amc etc.
    Without some form of help guide then you rely on players to teach noobs how to progress and keep it worthwhile and without noobs coming into contact with the few helpful rb players then they wont bother to come back.
    I dont want to be too negative as the game for me is all about the gameplay and not about looks, i also think you have done wonders with the original game and would have nothing taken away from your hard work and real progress.
    Thanks for the game as a whole i appreciate it, but please give a thought for us noobs who have found small areas to gain cash (orbs etc) and struggle sometimes with the choices made to counteract the rb people.
    I have no solution to this but i wanted to make it seen.
    Big thanks to the GM's who have always been as helpful as their time would allow, and to the few players who actually wanted to help, mostly to Lapta who does a really tricky job which is mainly unappreciated in keeping this afloat in a tough time with free games.

    there are currenlty a few guides kicking around, not very good ones i know, but due the the last SN task i have a whole array of infomation to put together as a guide, but due to lack of time i have no yet got round to doing this.
    I am shocked that players have not helped you in game, as normally players are very helpfuly, but i understand that now rebirth players have there own little area to chill in, they are somewhat cut off from the normal players, and maybe this is something that need to be addressed.
    At the moment i am trying to work with the coder and get all the updates i have planned and pormised in game. For some unknown reason people think GM's = admin team, where as GM's are in game support only, and they do a great job. I am left to do everything outside of the game, inculding sorting out passwords, dealing with greif and rebuse report etc. I get the odd bit of help with from edddy with some scripting and stats but that just normally give me more work :P
    I would love to save its a noob friendly server, but right now it is not, and hopefully within the next few days this will change Just keep an ey eon the forums and hopefully you will see wat you need to get your mates playing.
