My friend is trying to log in for the first time

Hi

I have a friend trying to log in for the first time today?

He has downloaded the game and used the auto patcher, which says after a short dowload there is nothing more required.

When he gets to the log in page, he selects the 'new'option, and fills in all the required windows and clicks the ok button, which takes him back to the log in page.
He uses the new account name and password, but when he clicks 'ok' all that happens is the two windows go back to being blank.
After some time he clicks the cancel button and tries again, this time when he uses the log in, he gets a new message window bordered red which says "invalid user or unknown fault!"

Does anyone have any suggestions, he is tearing his hair out.

Hi
did it actually say your account is now created and you can log in,
you have to be quite quick when making the account, or you can run out of time,
can only suggest to try make another account see if that works.

got him to do it quicker and he got the message account created.

thanks for the tip, you have to be lightning fast!

Next problem he has just sent me... got to the character creation page and he has selected a name, job and gender, but when he clicks ok...nothing happens and he goes back to the previous page???
